Fresh bread all week!
Excellent. I’ve tested it with a large sourdough loaf. The wrapper is easily big enough and the bread stays fresh enough not to need toasting for twice as long, which is a huge difference.
I haven’t tried the pinching technique. I put the loaf upside down on the wrapper, folded it, then put it the right way up in the bread bin, so the bread keeps the wrapper closed under it.

These bread wraps are excellent and very charming
Made a large sandwich loaf six days ago. It has a good rise to it. When it was cold I wrapped it up in one of the XXL wraps which covers it perfectly. Six days on, the bread is still pretty fresh (although probably better as toast) and in good condition. I have found these wraps to work extremely well for bread.
In the past I've used them to cover a large ciabatta from a very good bakery and again, covered it fully and kept in great condition.
I also like the designs (I have one of each). They make a most attractive addition to my kitchen.

XXL Bread Wrap
I was sceptical of the claims relating to this and home-made bread but was desperate to find a way to keep an entire loaf edible, other than freezing it in slices and remembering to defrost in time to use, so decided to try it. I've been absolutely amazed to find that it works so well - a week after baking there is still some of the loaf wrapped in the bread bin, still feeling fresh and soft.
The only drawback is that my loaf, made in a bread maker, is slightly too large for this wrap so until the first few slices have been taken off there's a little gap in the wrapping. However, that doesn't seem to have caused a problem.
I just wish I'd taken the plunge earlier and tried it out.
