The 'Turbo-Pure' is a gentle slow fermentation yeast. Can take up to 10 days to ferment out fully. Not so smelly and the wash is good quality but, it maxes out at 15%.wash. We also use turbo-carbon in the fermentation process. If you use a reflux tower temperature of circa 55o on the reflux head and throw 200ml 'heads. This produces a very good high quality neutral spirit, we run the finished spirit through a carbon filter for extra purity. We make very good Rum/Gin/vodka using this high purity spirit. In the past we have gone for speed & volume but, we ended up with Vodka that had a potato taste (Yuk), it's very easy to make horrible spirit but don't do it! my advice...strive for quality and use the Still spirit 'Pure'
