444 Peach Double Taper

Goin’ Old Skool with a Peach DT with Seafoam 20#Micron on a like new Pflueger Sal-Trout (the original large arbor reel) mounted to a pristine Fenwick Fenglass FF 756! What a charming combo for light to medium sized streamers on some local Pennsylvania mid sized creeks. I intend to log many hours on this 3 ounce 6 weight rig - the DT5F has the perfect mass at distance to load this rod and fight fish in heavier current - inunderlinenmost of my glass to add a little speed boost to the casting mechanics. I’ve been fishing Cortland Lines since 1973 and don’t need to look anywhere else!

Great flyline.

I remember my first flyline in the early 70s. It too was a Cortland double taper flyline. A good thing that, unlike most things, has not changed. Thank you Cortland Line Company.

I picked this up on a recommendation for my first fly line. Its affordable and works excellent! Feels great!
