The fit and articulation are excellent, giving plenty of freedom of movement without feeling baggy or cumbersome and the trousers remain comfortable even after wearing them for a few hours. The build quality is exactly what I have come to expect from Jöttnar. The material feels tough enough to deal with proper use, while still being light and breathable, they also dry remarkably quickly, the zipped pockets are well positioned and secure, and the integrated belt either side of the waist is a particularly good feature. They manage to feel like proper technical trousers without becoming overly complicated or fussy, having used plenty of premium outdoor trousers from the likes of Rab, Montane and Arc'teryx, I would have no hesitation putting the TOLs in that company.

Bought these recently as planning some long hikes. Wore on a few shorter day hikes so far and they have performed well in some challenging weather conditions. Good quality, well made and dry quickly.

Having multiple walking pants from almost every high end brand. Tol has it all and more, very comfortable, love the belt as it stays in place unlike others that fall out of the loops once undone. Plenty of zipped pockets for your phone and keys, but the best bit is the ankle draw cords for a perfect fit with your boots. Now without doubt Tol are my default goto pant, i prefer them to my Rab Torque Mountain, Me ibex, Montane Terra, Rab Magna Light and Arcteryx Creston.
