Tremendous jersey. Bought for daily use - but arrived just in time to take to Berlin at Xmas time. Not sub zero but 0 deg C and perfect performance. Lots of walking but zero overheating and when static, warm without being uncomfortable. 100% recommend.

There are many options for cold weather protection suiting pretty much any budget but there may come a time when what you need is outright, utterly reliable performance. When that happens the brand you need is Brynje from Norway. I have a complete set of base and mid-layer Brynje clothing. I have added this the classic wool sweater to my collection. I am active outdoors through the winter months, walking, cycling, riding my motorcycle and hiking. This covers a wide range of conditions in trying to keep warm and dry while undertaking hard physical activity in what must be the hardest climate to do so, cold, damp driving rain and a high wind-chill factor. Get it wrong and hypothermia and life threatening conditions await. So it has to be Brynje's wool clothing every time. I hate the cold but at 66 years old I have to stay outdoors and active or my body will become frail and lose its vitality so for me Brynje is worth the money to keep me in good health

Nice Jumper

Its a real nice Jumper and paired with a merino base layer,makes for a comfortable day... Use it with a windproof, like Helikon Tex and its good for most UK senarios... only heavy rain requires a shell as windproof and jumper keeps majority out...
