Suiter Garment Bag - Wonderful Workmanship

I grew up in the Schenectady area (my father worked for G.E.) and have been using Tough Traveler products for over 50 years. My family used their duffle bags primarily, as we did lots of traveling across the country in our VW BUS in the 1970’s. It is a very unique company because it has managed to keep all manufacturing in-house, while so many other garment companies have moved production off-shore (L.L. Bean, Patagonia,North Face, REI, etc). No small feat! Everything about their products emphasizes consistent high quality and functional design. Nothing is skimped on, the stitching, durable fabric, and especially the zippers, which are incredibly robust. The Suiter Garment Bag is no exception; just look at the zipper on it. It is perfect size for a weekend trip (I am in Buffalo for a wedding currently), or business travel. I can’t recommend their products highly enough. Thank you Tough Traveler!

Last top-notch garment bag made in USA

Well made and useful. Eagle Creek (made the Commuter Suiter) and other top manufacturers used to make rugged garment bags in the US back in the 1990s. But Tough Traveler is the last of the breed. A well made product. Just wish they would expand this line to give more organizational features. Throw in a Tough Hanger to complete the package.

Excellent. Quality big-toothed zipper means business. Easy to grab, easy to open close. Overall weight is light for a garment bag, like it should be. The weight comes from what’s inside. Serious business w/o fluff. I own three.
