I’ve been wanting to get this replica for quite some time, and when I saw that there was a framed version which makes it easier to display, I couldn’t take that opportunity for granite, so decided to finally get it. I’m so glad I did! I couldn’t find a fault with the craftmanship of this Archaeopteryx piece. Every detail is beautifully preserved, from the feather impressions to the cracks in the stone. It is quite heavy as it’s solid rather than hollow, but was packaged with plenty of bubble-wrap and labelled as fragile so that it shipped gneiss-ly and with care! I do not have any bones to pick with this roar-some piece of art that is now proudly displayed on my wall! All I need now is to get a light above it to show off the details better! Thank you Prehistoric Store for a rock-solid addition to my collection!
