a playful tromp through the deep woods

Paws that have upturned rich soil and broken the stems of young plants, stained with the fresh green scent their sap left behind. The cave you holed up in for the night holds the scent of storm air and rainy woods and wet stone. Your fur's still just a little bit wet despite your best efforts to shake dry. Behind it all is the blanket left there for you by someone who loves you, something with a familiar, comforting scent for you to curl up with while you wait everything out, a little quiet before you have to face the morning ahead. Wild but peaceful, atmospheric but fuzzy, plant and mineral above but soft and warm below. Howlkin is so fascinating to my nose!! I feel like I pick something new up every time I sniff it. And omg. The theming. Don't be afraid of the 'damp fur' note, this is genuinely a wearable scent and a whole lot of fun. P.S. if you love Mossmallow Puff like I do, layering this with a little Marshmallow Puff is amazing :D
