Beautiful fire in place opals. Setting them was a little delicate as I didnt want them to crack due to silver clay shrinkage and the dimensions of these earrings (small) made the setting a little tricky. The deep texture as base made things even more difficult but I was determined to create a mini rockpool set of earrings and so haapy with the result. When firing, I slowed the ramp and did a burnout at 500C, and sintered at 800. I used a mix of .960 and .999 clay.
