Stargate Universe Destiny Gate

The mould quality is really good for the size and the paint job isn't perfect but it is adequate. The base really should have been left untouched for a more neutral look as those simple streaks are so undefining it is more distracting than adding detail. I can't tell what the brush strokes are meant to convey. It would have been better to spray paint the base randomly to make it appear like stone or something if painting it was absolutely required, instead of unsightly brush strokes.

Gate has incredible detail, love it! Has good weight to it as well, feels very sturdy. Happy my gate collection is complete now.
