Great for short day hikes. Enough room for a rain jacket and a few small essentials. Water bottle pocket is a bit short so I use a cord to connect my 1/2 liter water bottle to the strap hardware. This is my second Tough Traveler Hipster. I bought an orange one and took it to the Yukon Territory in Canada to see the northern lights. They work great!
