Good tones
These NAM captures are very good. I have already used one of them for recording some black metal :).

Everything you need for a straightforward black metal production is here
This collection features a modest but highly effective range of guitar tones for black metal. Whether you’re working with just two rhythm tracks or a quad-tracked wall of sound (and adding guitar leads on top of that) this pack has you covered for all those scenarios. There are enough tones here to experiment with blends and complex setups, or you can just pick one and write riffs without endless tweaking. I tried these tones on a current production I’m working on, and I was surprised by how few harsh resonances needed taming (just a couple of dBs here and there). These tones are aggressive as hell and easy to fit into a mix. Just one warning: if you plan to blend the IRs included in this pack, make sure to align their phase. I loaded all the IRs into Cabinetron to audition each one in isolation and to blend them, but I encountered some phase issues. Nothing to worry about, though. Cabinetron can align the phase of every loaded IR. Once that is done, you can experiment with the IRs without any problems. The free IR loader “FenrIR” by Aurora DSP can also align the phase of two loaded IRs.
