The fan is a bit teller than I expected. Assembly was a breeze and the foot is certainly sturdy enough - unless maybe you have a very large exuberant dog or something. The silent mode is acceptable for the bedroom. Improvement suggestions: Make the buttons palpable for better use in dim light.
