Whistler (Iron Bark)

It is a beautiful and well-made boot, but the sizing question remains unclear. I went with size AU12 / US 13, and it is a bit large overall, so I added orthotic inserts. I have a pair of Redback Leather inserts, but they do not provide the solid support of third-party orthotics insole inserts. I leave this review also unclear if it will ever reach others, since the Redback website does not currently give access to online reviews such as this. Why is that? Seems a red flag, but I don't want to jump to conclusions about the motives involved. Overall, the Whistler is Redback's response to non-working boot desires from customers, and despite the sizing uncertainty, I think they nailed it. I can't wear Blundstones because they are too wide and spacious for my standard feet. Redbacks don't have that problem, and they are made in Australia still, which Blundstone can no longer claim.

These are my new favorite every day boot! Same wonderful construction as there original slide on boot, but just a little more dressed up for everyday activities. Comfortable and full leather I get compliments on them all the time. This is the best bang for your buck out there for a comfortable boot!

Great quality, great boots! Thank you for keeping production at home, in Australia, where it belongs, not outsourced to some other country where authenticity and quality will be affected. I love the boots. FYI - These were my second pair of Redbacks!
