A Tool That’s More Useful Than Expected

I’ve ended up with five of the CountyComm Clear Tube Vaults, which probably says more about their usefulness than anything else. The tubes themselves are made from solid, hard plastic and feel sturdier than you might expect at first glance. They’re also bigger than they look in photos, which makes them surprisingly versatile for storing small gear, batteries, matches, or anything you want to keep protected and visible. The only drawback is the orange cap. It works fine and seals properly, but it doesn’t match the rugged quality of the tube itself. It feels a bit flimsy in comparison, and I do wish it had the same solid, overbuilt feel as the body. That said, it’s still functional, and it hasn’t failed — it just doesn’t inspire the same confidence as the rest of the design. Overall, these are very useful little vaults, and that’s exactly why I keep buying more. They’re simple, tough, and easy to repurpose for all kinds of everyday carry or emergency kit needs.
