British Linen Flat Cap

The cap works exactly as I wanted it to - nicely lightweight for hotter temps, keeps the sun out of my eye, and folds easily into my pocket when I don't need it.

I've only ever bought one-size-fits-all flatcaps before and cannot state what a difference it felt putting on my first proper one from Laird Hatters. I visited the Oxford shop for my purchase but do not recall the staff members name. That said they were polite and helpful. Offering a couple of sizes as I had no idea what mine might be. I am very happy with my purchase and am now looking at a winter cap

Excellent service in the shop to find the right sizing for both of us on a recent visit to Oxford. I’m sans Barnet these days so the cap was perfect in the glaring sun of this summer - unlike a long peak hat I can use my camera (OM-1 series) without the peak interfering with viewing!
