The pattern has 2 options: for stretchy and non-stretchy fabric. So I chose the later. The fabric is sort of gabardine that imitates jeans. I don't know the proper name even in Russian. The plus that it doesn't crumple, minus - it is not thin enough. So I decided to change the belt, or it would be too bulky. Just turned and stitched. I am planning to find some satin cotton for the next go. The T-shirt (Lee and Pearl) is wide, and hides the bulkness. Making straight rows of decorative stitches was not easy. I used the double needle. The seam is narrower that it was planned by the designer, but straighter than 2 of mine ) Even that I did like 5 times each, I was not happy with the result. The pockets are made of one layer. I was not planning to sew them, just to fixate with the buttons. But I felt that a couple of stitches at the corners are necessary. The thinner fabric suggest another technique of 2 layers pockets. Overall the pants have a modern look and fit ok, could be a bit narrower at the waist. Maybe thinner fabric will help.
