The Yard Carpenters — Carpenter Trouser Sewing Pattern

I am relative beginner, just did the duffle bag and some tiny things before, so it was my first garment. It worked out really well and did fit together much better than I thought I would make it. The video with the hickery stripe cloth I prefered over the one with the green cloth because it was more indepth. At the beginning I did not really know what to cut out but with making it it got clear. If you do 2 videos and have different versions in your pattern I would find it useful to see you doing both versions. Also for cases if I want to do another trowser with the pattern I would have guidance for the other possabilities as well. Also interesting fo me would be a video how to adjust the pattern, which could maybe also fit into your goal to make blueprints rather than patterns? What I thought about was: how to make the legs thiner? Or how to reduce the distance of the rise so the trowser gets a bit less beggy? Aniway great work with the patterns and the explanation videos. Thanks a lot Jack for taking me by the hand and showing me how to sew stilish garments :D

My first pair of trousers. Actually quite amazed how well they fit and what can be accomplished with minimal equipment and space. Tutorials and resources are top notch as always. I cant express how much I appreciate the amount of time and effort Jack & everyone else at Roughcut puts into these. Thankyou for teaching me how to sew.

The pattern and sewing instructions are easy to follow. I am bit confused about the seam allowance after watching the video tutorial. It would be nice if you could add layers on pdf so I can cut the pattern without notice the lines. But overall it's a great pattern and the result is awesome. I will purchase another pattern as well.
