Hass Avocado Tree

The Honey Crisp was smaller than expected. The pomegranates were exactly as expected. This is typical from FastaGrowingTrees. They state a pot size which has an expected plant size/quality, and it's 50/50 half the time you get a plant that makes sense for the pot, the other half you get a tall stem with a few leaves. They need to get their quality control more consistent.

Arrived in a damaged box. Little to no tree damage. Planted immediately in pre prepped ground in greenhouse. It’s cold here. It’s very happy with nasturtium friends. I co-owned 17 acres of Hass in San Diego county. When I sold (water expense prohibitive!) I moved to North west Washington. I built the green house with a cement slab & 2’ round holes in the slab just for the Hass. So far so good - in large part thanks to you! My dream is to fight surface roots and do lots of pruning. They make me happy just watching them while sitting surrounded snow. It’s never been below 45° in there btw.

Recently purchase avocado tree.

We planted the tree a couple days ago. My wife feels bad as the tree leaves are drooping, and I told her that tree came a long distance, and in time it will sprout new leaves, no problem!
