Black Cable Tensioner for Wood Posts

Amazing product!

This is a much cleaner look than any other product I looked at before and the install went extremely smoothly with their tool kit. Highly recommend to anyone looking to DIY their cable railing!

Good product, deck looks great

Looks great and was easy enough for a novice DIYer to follow instructions. Only issues are you should buy the recommended brad bit from Cable Bullet, because it is an uncommon size that was very difficult to find at any hardware stores; we had to workaround by drilling first with a 1/2" brad tip bit, and then coring out the remaining 1/32" radius with a 9/16" standard bit.

Easy Install - Quality Tensioners - Nice Look

Overall the install went very well and it looks good. The cable bullets are a nice clean look. Here are a couple things you might consider: 1) The 9/16 brad point bit is junk. I chucked it in a drill press to bore holes in a template I was making and the centering spur moved all over the place while running - like nearly 1/8" of runout. And did a pretty poor boring job in my DF posts as well. Considering the quality and price of the cable bullet tensioners I think you should be selling a quality bit even if it was twice the price. I have quite a few brad point bits that I use for woodworking and your bit does not come close in quality. 2) I used Standard, XL, and XXL tensioners but unfortunately the XXL were not available in black. Why not? The whole rest of my install is black (other tensioners, rail system, and cable) and the XXL's stand out - and not in a good way.
