excellent trail shoe - runs half-size small
This is my 3rd RC shoe, 2nd for flats after a paid of US12 Vice Mid. My big toe reaches the same point in each shoe, but the Vice is loose and roomy, and this is snug. This is the first RC I've owned with their most grippy sole and it is really great. It's also firm enough to pedal hard for a few hours without arch soreness or other foot pain. I've ridden them in extreme heat (100F+) and they were fine, and I'll ride them this winter (slightly) below freezing. I haven't had to hike much but the tread seems like it would get the job done.

Runs small, quality constructio
Overall, the shoes look great and appear to be well made. I ordered a 13. I wear a 13 in a new balance 574 and my old pair of riding shoes are Pearl Izumi in a size 13. Both fit comfortably. The Tallacs fit, but they are tight. I would probably order a half size larger if they offered it. I think they will break in though over time. Also, don’t use the AI sizing tool. It told me to order a 12, which was unbearably small. Ride Concepts doesn’t offer return shipping so it’s a $20 mistake when you have to send them back.
