This is one of the best fake skins I have tried and it’s reasonably priced! There is no need to go deep to try to get the ink to stick. You can use the same depth as you would on skin and it will hold the ink and give a slight feedback similar to skin. I would highly recommend this for beginners and new artists. I have tried so many skins during my apprenticeship so far and this it one of my favorite! My only downside it it can be a bit difficult to clean color off of. This is not a big deal but since it has a texture it’s something to be aware of.

I initially believed my tattooing skills were lacking, but after taking a recommendation from a fellow aspiring artist to try Skinz, my perspective completely changed. From the very first needle contact, I was impressed by how easy they were to work with and how well they absorbed and held the ink. These practice skinz provide an excellent experience for developing technique and confidence. I would highly recommend them to both beginners and experienced tattoo artists alike. I will certainly continue purchasing them because, as always, practice is key to improvement!

Great alternative to ReelSkin, only complaint is excess ink smudging and holds black ink a little too well, hard to get the lighter gray shades. Otherwise, good product. Would recommend.
