Awesome trip!!

Kamal and KeKoa were top notch awesome guys!! Now as a fisherman you want to catch fish all day, but its called fishing and not catching for a reason. Lol. Booked the 6 hour trip and these guys were on it as soon as we left the harbor. I stated I wanted to catch a Mahi Mahi as it was my bucket list fish. To make a long story we weren't having any luck but it wasnt for lack of effort by these 2 guys. They were continually changing up baits and setups and changing up depths, even had 8 lines out at one point trying to bring one in. With 10 minutes to go they hooked me up on a Mahi Mahi and made my dream come true!! Only caught the 1 but meant the world to me!! I will be back in February and will be looking again. Kamal and Kekoa are top notch. Kind good hearted, full of energy, and just great people. Can't wait till the next one!!!

Review of Cap Kamal and Racal

I recently had the misfortune of booking a charter with Racal and Captain Kamal Pfeifle, and I must say it was an absolutely dismal experience from start to finish. Firstly, we paid a staggering $1900 for what turned out to be a complete waste of money. We spent six hours on the boat, and all we did was go in circles. To make matters worse, we were left with leftover water from previous customers and not a morsel of food in sight. Captain Pfeifle seemed entirely unprepared and lacked any clear fishing strategy. We had no idea what we were fishing for, and his minimal engagement with us made the whole trip feel even more pointless. His attitude was unprofessional and off-putting—he made a comment about having heard of "our kind of people," which was both rude and irrelevant. To top it off, when we chose not to tip him—given the poor service and lack of anything substantial to justify it—Captain Pfeifle reacted very unprofessionally. He called us to say, "You will never step foot on my boat, ever again!" and then proceeded to call several more times, yelling and criticizing us for not tipping. He even insisted that we should have tipped him for getting us back safely, which was utterly absurd given the circumstances. It seems like this kind of behavior isn't isolated. Vendors in Maui seem to talk amongst themselves about their clients in a small-town gossip fashion, and we heard negative comments about our fishing trip during other activities we participated in. It left us with a bad taste about the entire Maui experience. In summary, this was the worst activity we've ever encountered, and it seems like a blatant money grab. I cannot recommend the Racal or Captain Kamal Pfeifle to anyone. In fact, based on this experience, I would advise avoiding any activities in Maui as it seems to be rife with gouging and poor customer service.

Crew was unbelievable. very personable and professional. boat was clean. If i ever go back i will be requesting them again. thank you guys for an amazing experience.
