I had a promise to keep, and found myself suddenly in need of two right-sized boards to be able to correctly display two 3-D printed replicas of 18th century chessmen, one British, one French at Montpelier, the historic home of President James Madison, in Orange County, Virginia. Like presidents Jefferson and Monroe, his neighbors, James Madison was an avid chess player. This was a last-minute, "hope it gets here in time" order. HOS came through with flying colors -- ahead of the predicted delivery date. Kids and adults were able to lay hands on chess pieces and play during my presentation. Thanks for such consistent service!
