Gauthier Faux Gras 2.0

This was truly vile. I love most pate and have previously enjoyed foie gras. Of course this was going to be different, but the only positive thing i can say is that the texture is nice. Cashew flavour is the top note, as expected. But all the other flavours are muddled and not complementary. I understand this is probably a me thing. It is good quality and made by such talented people but not for me.

Being dying to try this since I saw the old version on Bosh TV. Impressed with the date so will save for my Christmas dinner starter with toast. Real Faux Gras never appealed but I used to love patè on toast some 30+ years ago when I gave up animals and the options where mushroom patè in a tube so looking forward to trying
