Great belt, except the colour is wearing off after 2 weeks

I bought a dark brown full-grain belt. It fits brilliantly, is easy to use, easy to adjust throughout the day since I sit at a desk a lot. However, after only two weeks, the brown colour is wearing off leaving a very light brown underneath. I guess I just assumed a brown belt would have been properly brain or vegetable tanned. What was a very nice looking belt that I could have warn with a suit or business casual, is now only suitable for jeans and a shirt. Also, the edges of the buckle are a bit sharp. I occasionally scrape my knuckles on them. They should be rounded off better. I can't speak for the longevity of the belt. I bought the full-grain in hopes that it would last for decades. Maybe it will. Won't look that great ten years from now though.

Not holding up!

Was a timely and lengthy ongoing learning experience to get the buckle to unhook! Once that was accomplished it worked fine. Very disappointed that for $75 dollars and your great on line reviews, after just two weeks of use the end of the belt is already fraying and the leather all marked up! My partner has had one of your cheaper belts for many months already and it is still in "like new" condition. He had no trouble with his belt from the very beginning but he also had so much trouble trying to open my new belt something that he never had with the belt he bought! So, he has been very happy but I have been very disappointed. The belt is a wonderful idea if it works and holds up!!
