Gravity flap shutter

The gravity flap shutter arrived when the seller said it would. It was easy to fit. The problem with it is that the flaps flip up into the space of the flap above when it is breezy or windy. This leaves gaping holes for the wind to blow through into the house, making it almost as draughty as not having a flap shutter. I have to go up a ladder to put the flaps back to their proper place each time it happens. I have ended up having to put tape from top to bottom to stop the flaps opening too far, which reduces the effectiveness of the extractor fan which it is covering. I am disappointed about this as I have used this type of shutter before without this problem.

The order we made for a gravity grill came quickly and we were very happy with the product having been unable to find that size anywhere else. Stopped a lot of drafts coming into our kitchen. Will certainly use Fans4Less Ltd again.
