Heavyweight Zip Winter Breeches | Black

I’m in the upper Midwest and wear winter breeches for about 5-6 months of the year. I ride low level dressage and am just starting to dabble in jumping. I got these on a Black Friday deal and was soo excited about them! The good: The lining is super soft and warm. The outer fabric is thick, stretchy and supportive. They’re shockingly long enough for my 6ft frame. The bad: I’ve ridden in them maybe 8-10 times and the inner thighs are pilled and already loosing stick. I wash on gentle and hang dry— they’ve never gone in the dryer. I have Sync winter breeches going on their second year with more stick, and Pipers that I got secondhand going on their fourth winter that have held up better. My old Free Ride winter tights held up better. Frustrating and too expensive to only last a few weeks.

Beautiful and well-made breeches! The soft, velvety lining on the inside is what makes them incredibly warm and comfortable. They are more structured, so I recommend sizing up—but they’re still very comfortable and flattering.
