Exactly what I expected
The Tonerider Alnico 2 Plus pickups have a little more output than traditional PAFs. Their sound is generally more aggressive and mid-focused, making them ideal for distorted tones. When played clean, however, they can sound noticeably sharp in the mid and high frequencies. Exactly as described on this page. Compliments!

These breathe more
I think I found a good replacement for my pickups. Alnico 2+ are as I expected. I wanted a PAF with more edge, the same feel, and more growl when I need it. I really like that Plus :D
I changed them in my Cort G290 fat II.

Nice mid high presence
Mounted in bridge position of a baswood body rosewood neck 1986 MIJ strat , it sports a nice mid high presence which let the guitar to stand out from the band mix, nice distorted tone, maybe a bit too much middy with clean tones, especially with fender amps, very close to a famous A2 pickup model from a famous brand for a famous guitarist with a famous hat
