Simply amazing! Aethi Opum takes you on a true journey, from the wet earth, soulful incense, roasted coffee with cacao-like tones, settling into a gentle, vanillic skin-like musk. Truly brilliant!

Maya Njie is an artist, a true connoisseur of her craft. This is the third scent I have purchased for my partner, and each time she wears them I fancy her a little bit more.

Hi, here’s my own little take on “Aethi Opum.”
First of all, I have to say that it’s different from other fragrances. But I find it suitable for everyday wear.
Since I don’t know what gove or a gove accord smells like, I can’t draw any comparisons to other perfumes of that sort. At first, I detect a slightly bitter, smoky coffee note that even reminds me a bit of licorice. The longer the fragrance stays on the skin, the more the bitterness fades and gives way to a leather note, which becomes noticeably sweeter after about 2 hours. Earthy undertones give the fragrance depth without making it too heavy.
After about 6–7 hours, I’d need to reapply.
What I noticed among the people around me: I brought the fragrance with me yesterday to a perfume event, where I introduced it to some perfume enthusiasts from the Hamburg fragrance community. Although I would describe this perfume as unisex, it goes over much better with men than with women. While most men praise the fragrance for its spicy touch, most women find it too earthy and slightly musty/moldy.
I’ll be wearing it more often in the near future and see how I feel about it. My German nose: Since it’s going to get colder soon, I can imagine it will suit me even better than it does at 30 degrees… at least here in cold Germany, where those temperatures are more of an exception.
So, that was my humble review.
All the best for the future
Yours
