Maplin USB-C to USB-A 60W Braided Cable - Grey

Used Maplin over many years as my first go to. Unfortunately the usb-c to usb-a cable that’s advertised as charge and synch compatible including being compatible with CarPlay simply doesn’t work. It charges via my usb-a port in my 8yr old VW but does not register the cable is connected so not able to send music etc to the infotainment system. Tried contacting Maplins as the “faulty product procedure states on its website but it always goes to voicemail. As it’s only a £6 cable, I’m not sure it’s even worth returning having to pay return costs. Already paid £4 for it to be delivered. Disappointing for what is usually a quality company.

Nice short length charger wire to minimise tangling around gear stick when driving.

Charger wire came as described ideal length from my cigarette lighter charger to my phone holder time will tell how long it will last but seems to be well made and of good quality for the price.
