Clearly brand new, must have been stored for a while as was stiff and there was a scraping noise on actuation. I had to disassemble the dropper, clean and apply fresh grease (sram butter) now works perfectly. Side note from time of order to actual shipping was inordinately long. But as it was free I can accept that. Overall the product works, it was a bargain so no real complaints.

after 3 weeks the post has lots of play and movement where it should not. apart from that all works as it should. and came next day.
