Respire Grounding Barefoot Sandal (Men's) - Eclipse

Perfect fit. They said to downsize. I normally wear a 10.5, ordered a size 10 and they are AWESOME. very comfortable. Adjustable. A little heavier than I was anticipating. But I absolutely love these sandals. Huge upgrade from xero sandals. 😁🫶

Very simple strap management and the padding on the backstrap is lovely. I really like the fact that the strap connectors don’t penetrate the soles so you are not walking on them at all. The surface of the footbed is not slick so I don’t worry about aliding around in them. They were just barely wide enough but the next size up would have been way too long. I will put some mileage on these but will keep looking for truly wide sandals!

Entry into Barefoot-style Walking

The go-to sandal for starting to live the barefoot lifestyle. Having done extensive research beforehand made it crystal clear that the competition is far behind. Besides all the other innovative benefits of the upgraded Respire it was important to me that the laces and toe post do not go through the outsole and that the grounding is coming from a fully conductive outsole and not just a grounding pin. Some may criticize that the sole is not super thin but it turned out to be ideal for a mixed off- and on-road use. I'm totally convinced that this is it, sandals with all toes unrestricted in the free are the way forward!
