It does what it says it will. Provides warmth but doesn’t make you sweat. It’s lightweight and packs down very small. The material is clever because the warmth is immediate but you can control it by adjusting windproof outer layers. I also use the primaloft gaiter with the vest on colder days. It’s like all the Albion kit, designed with thought and purpose and it just works.
