Since I didn’t really have a secure spot to leave the base out for solar charging ahead of a camping trip, this was exactly what I needed. Works as advertised.

Our area recently has been impacted with fog for over a week and no solar power input. Took them a while to get it sent, yet allowed me to recharge the Solar Home battery from an AC port of another solar backup.
Do use the motion sensor light at the front door as needed (which is quite often) and a light in kitchen.
Do wished BioLite would come out with another battery to either upgrade/replace the original SolarHome base unit or have one that can be mounted next to it through its expansion port.
Has been a few times in the colder months we did not have much sun. Was something i wanted to order just in case, yet never got around to ordering. Have one now. :)
