Green Lung - Necropolitan

Album arrived safely secured although a little later than I originally expected. Not a big deal tbh. Green Lung’s 4th LP is brilliant and the band sounds as tight as ever. Occult rock done right. Imo they should be getting the same kind of exposure Uncle Acid does. Their sounds aren’t identical obviously with Green Lung leaning a little more into the metal side of things both doom and stoner, nods to the NWOBHM era…etc. But they’re drinking from the same stream of Albion madness psychedelia. Uncle Acid like it’s serial killers and Green Lung it’s witchcraft. Both bands enjoy a dose of the devil. I bring up Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats not only because they’re also a modern day church of Sabbath devotee (UA does have an 8 year head start, w/GL catching up quickly) but because they have a new full length out. Another aspect of Green Lung (shared w/UA is their tongue in cheek humor. Check out both as well as Castle Rat, REZN, Monolord, Dopelord 🤘🏼

extremely cool vinyl, very sad I didn't get a cool sticker. Nuclear Blast has some of my favorite iconography.

great album! Shipping took a while to get, but it came in excellent condition
