Organic Washable Wool Mattress Protector

I bought this for my 97 year old mom. We have a hospital bed set up in her bedroom. I’d earlier purchased a foam topper and placed a mattress cover over it. Even though she’s very slender and hardly ever sweats, she started sweating at night. I bought this cotton-wool mattress cover to see if it would help. So far, she hasn’t tried it out yet. She’ll be back here in a few days. Meanwhile, I have aired your mattress cover out on the deck in the sun. It didn’t arrive with any smell or anything. Just thought I’d air it out before I made her bed.

I put this cover over a mattress topper then put a fitted sheet over the wool protector, I’m sure it will perform perfectly. I do eventually intend to get a light comforter and one day even a wool latex topper- love Woolroom products.

Fantastic. This really helps w regulating your temperature, which is useful if you are a woman of a certain age. It’s very comfortable as well and adds some padding to the mattress but not too much so as to make the bed too soft and cause back issues. It’s a great product. I ordered a second one for another bed too.
