3018-PRO Desktop CNC Router DIY Kit

This item arrived a little sooner than promised, which always a pleasant surprise. Assembly was straighforward. Operationally I have no complaints, and am looking around for software suitable for my needs and budget.

Assembly of 3018 Pro kit

Kit was neatly organized and easily assembled. I built the left and right vertical supports simultaneously to avoid any stress on the parts or the bolts. A set square is handy to check the alignment and the bolts which were loosely inserted were tightened as you would a wheel or cylinder head by slowly tightening each opposite side bolt and snugging them up in an alternating pattern. I did not use any locktite or similar. I will see how the bolts hold under operational vibrations and add it later if required. I am looking forward to testing out the unit and putting it to work.

I love this little thing. It’s easy to put together and easy to use.
