My partner will love this! I thought it might be made from plastic, cork, or cardboard, but it's made from some other material that feels very light and like stone. It's a unique take, in my opinion. High quality print and exactly as displayed.

Nostalgia in a Coaster....

This takes me back ... Every summer, as a child, my parents took us on holiday to the Isle of Man. One of my "treats" was being bought Commando Comics, by my dad - a soldier 1939 - 45, when we were packed off to bed early, under the watchful eye, of the guesthouse landlady, so my mum and dad could enjoy an evening out. I could spend hours rotating comic carousels, half reading the stories, before making my choice. On reflection, the authors and illustrators of these comics, were WW2 veterans, and the accuracy of their illustrations and stories was far better than many of today's U tube content creators! For me, this is a slice of unadulterated nostalgia. It's also a useful coaster!
