Jet Black Leather Dye

Exactly what I wanted

This project made me nervous, I'll admit. And now I know why ppl who work with leather make good money! I got a stain on my camel colored MK bag this hurt my feelings bad. I love my bag. So I decided I would make myself a little diy project. I wanted to go for a worn saddle look. I deglazed... put a thin layer of dye, conditioned it well!! Let it set til the next day when I built up the courage again. I deglazed again. Dyed with 2 thin layers. Let that dry. The next day. I took a old cloth and buffed until no color transferred. I applied conditioner I wanted a little fading so I buffed the conditioner on to bring some of the dye out. Let it dry. Then the final conditioner had no color transfer. Now I'm applying a satin finisher. The picture really doesn't do any justice. I love how it turned out!
