Auto-dumps when full
I really wanted to love this disc, but unfortunately it is not the perfect fit for me. After using AllMatters cup for 5+ years, I wanted to try out the disc as well. The thing I absolutely love about the disc is how easy it is to insert as opposed to the cup. Just pinch, slide in and tuck and you are done. No folding and twisting and sometimes reinserting (if needed). I had an issue with my cup that the stem would stay out a bit (depending on the day of the cycle) and was really annoying, but cutting it shorter wasn't an option, because on other days of cycle it would go really high up and without the long stem would be too hard to reach. So a huge plus of the disc is that there is no such issue at all. It stays in so comfortably. At first it looks huge and intimidating, but actually it is really soft and very comfortable to insert. I used it for two cycles and for me it keeps auto-dumping when it is full and unfortunately not only when I'm using the restroom... I understand why a disc would auto-dump on the toilet, but auto-dumping on it's own when full is very unfortunate and makes this disc very unreliable period product for me. I can feel it is inserted correctly. It would leak small amounts if it was about the wrong position, but it only auto-dumps when it is full. When I take it out after such auto-dump accident it is empty. I think the reason for it is wrong size or too soft rim. I am glad I tried this disc out though, because I really prefer the feel and ease of use of a disc to a cup. I noticed I sometimes got a headache from the cup, because of the vacuum pressure. The disc is so much more comfortable in that regard. I will now look out for other disc brands to find the one that will fit me and not auto-dump on its own.
