Not used yet but the ultra light rod looks great paired with the 1500 reel . The reels have a nice finish to them. I have only bought this because I was impressed with the power I already have

Amazing rod! The ultralight is the perfect rod for getting them little guys and the tip tells you about every bite, giving great feedback and feel. The carry case that comes with the rod is the best quality and safest of all mine so far. The rod itself looks great. Very smart looking and high level of attention to detail. Really pleased with this thank you Carl!

Had an abundance of fish on this paired with the 1500 reel.... We actually used it to float on the canal for perch roach and bream. Very light very good... Would use all others in the fish with Carl range also 👍🏻 excellent.
