Light Lure Rod

I brought this rod and reel for my son birthday and would like to say how brilliant Carl products are fantastic quality and a out standing cousmer service It is lovely to support and deal with a family business who care about there cousmers 5 stars all the way and will be use them again

Lovely rod for lure fishing. I am mainly a float and ledger man myself but it’s a valued rod in my collection. It’s versatile and makes a good float rod too. providing you aren’t fishing over reeds. I’d recommend this rod especially for young children my little brothers find it easier than a 10ft rod for float fishing, and they have become very good at casting with lures after some practice. There may be a reason 7ft is perfect for light lure fishing but a 7.5ft might be a bit more suited for me being in an area where you are often fishing over aquatic plants like reeds.
