Sizing off

While the product itself seems comfortable and well made, I find the sizing off. It says true to size and using the sizing guide, my daughter should be a small adult, we ordered a medium - yet probably needed a large (large is now out of stock) and she is only 5'3", 120lbs and thin as a rail. Also, these pants are so SHORT. Perhaps they are made this way purposefully so that it starts above the skate, but my daughter is a goalie, so her skates are shorter to begin with and regardless, finds it more comfortable when they come to the ankle.
