Silent Alarm 20th Anniversary Deluxe Box Set

I’m a long-time fan and was excited for this, but the price doesn’t feel justified. The B sides are the main reason to own the set and unfortunately they’re a letdown. The pressing sounds flat and overly compressed, as if they were cut from dug-up old digital files rather than properly remastered. The main album holds up better. The book is nicely produced but the content itself is fairly surface-level and doesn’t add much new. Overall it feels more like a collector’s item than a useable set
