Oversized Joggers

I bought these joggers to go with the oversized boyfriend sweater in the same oatmeal colour. The set is nice together and I like the colour. The material is nice, lightweight but warm. The size and cut is where I have an issue. While I do find these joggers long enough for tall girls, for an oversized L/XL I find the jogger small around the waist and through the thighs. I wear a L/XL normally to have a looser fit, so I was expecting an item labeled as oversized to fit more loosely. The sweater these joggers are styled with is very nicely oversized, wished the pants were the same. I also wish the waist band was thicker and lay flat. This one digs in a bit. Maybe the next size up would have been better for me. Overall I will still wear these joggers, just won’t be my go-to like I was hoping they would be. I did buy a pair for my mom as a Christmas gift, hoping she likes them and they fit.
