Hearty little scale

With the hope that its waterproof-ness would lengthen its life, I bought this scale for a Type B friend who tends to be enthusiastic and carefree in the kitchen… so far so good. It is transparent and space-age looking and has a quiet, inoffensive beep. Perfect for pour-over and espresso but maybe not quite as ideal for deeply immersive recipes that require a countdown (no countdown timer - for that you’d need to look at something like the Acaia Pearl). The scale offers calibration and the app makes firmware updates easy (you are not chained to the app though). A fun, compact, and hearty scale.
