I haven't used for auto or boat finishing. But for cabinetry and metal, it's spectacular. Excellent fan spray consistency and able to spray heavy water-based finishes. I'm spraying SW Pro Cryl water-based universal primer and BM water-based DTM acrylic (H25). No thinking required with a 1.8mm air cap. I'm sure you've all had guns that you had to fight constantly to get God results. The Fuji system just works. Will spray some carbon fiber rowing shells this spring and will update on it's ability to lay down a fine finish.
