Nostalgic Peridot Ring

The one with the greenish stone is the one I got from Reis and the one with the blue stone I bought in an antique shop several years ago. The old one is in 9k gold and the sapphire is a lap sapphire. Ive always wanted to eventually get it recreated with a higher karat of gold. I saw this and I couldn't believe that it's the same ring in 14k gold. As you can see. The gold is a bit thinner and that makes the inside kinda scrape my finger. In general I thing it's beautiful but a little less detailed than my original and the stone looks more gray or brown than it does green.
