Corvette C8 | 5VM Style Side Skirt Set

These are actually 3.5 star, here’s my take… The good - Overall, fitment is good. Some minor adjusting and gaps, not factory, but it is what you might expect from an aftermarket product. Paint quality seems decent. The bad - the underside of the skirts are completely unfinished. Now I understand you don’t see them, but this is the difference between a high quality item, and just an average item. I mean, seriously, an extra three dollars in material? An extra 10 minutes in labor? The double sided sticky tape they provide installed needs to be very carefully lined up with your car before you stick it. The tape is just thrown on, and requires some cut back prior to installing otherwise you will have visible tape, and it’ll look terrible. The kit never came with any hardware or instructions, and the tape is not enough to hold it. I installed mine from the underside with a series of pop rivets, and pan-head screws. Again, the difference between high-quality and just average. Overall they look good, but I feel they are overpriced for the overall product.

While the lead time was longer than we would have liked (we are a body shop with a customer waiting), the product itself and customer service were outstanding. The product was well made and shipped well protected. We were grateful to be able to find this company as the product we got is no longer offered through GM
